Personality
Tabitha is a very upbeat, loud and charismatic teenager. She has inherited her father's energy and zest for life, and her mother's sensitivity and initiative. Tabitha is a very social girl, she enjoys going out and she likes going to clubs. Most of all Tabitha loves watching bands play, and she loves playing live herself. Tabitha has been playing the guitar since she was eight years old, and receieved her first guitar at the age of eleven, not long after she had to sell her horse. Tabitha owned an arab, which had to be sold just because it was becoming too much to keep, even though her family are quite wealthy. Tabitha loves playing the guitar, and she puts a lot of her energy into rehearsals which sometimes last way into the morning (regardless of what the neighbors like to think of her.)
Tabby is very unorganized person, she has very little punctuality and next to no time keeping skills. Tabby is a reliable person, but when it comes to times and places then you can count her out. Tabby just doesn't seem to be able to turn up on time for anything, be it school or band rehearsal or even a gig sometimes. Tabby really does push herself to be early - she's even attempted to set her watch forward, only she actually turned it backward, and was therefore over two hours late for a gig with her band, which meant by the time she turned up everyone was leaving, basically. Tabby has recognized this as a problem but she hasn't really made any other attempts to tackle it. It's just part of her nature now and people can take it or leave it - most people have learned to tell her times at least an hour and a half earlier than the exact time so she turns up actually on time.
Tabby has a very short temper, she hates it when people make fun of her or a relative or a friend, and she won't stand for it. She has inherited her mother's spitfire temper, which is such a very short fuse with a very big timebomb ticking away at the end of it. Tabby doesn't like losing her temper with anyone, but it happens so often that it's now a regular occurance for her to be suspended from school or sent home due to fighting. Tabby is a rough little fighter - most people would think she couldn't hold her own in a fight but that is far, far from the truth. Infact, Tabby is a very experienced fighter, probably due to the fact that unlike most girls her age she takes self-defence lessons.
Tabby is a very energetic girl, she can easily pull off an all nighter if she cared to try. She is often plagued with Insomnia anyway, so she finds it fun to have a challange that she can do easily. Tabby isn't very into drinking and getting high or stoned, but she does indulge every now and again just because it's what teenagers do, right? Tabby likes to try everything and anything at least once, and then she can put it down on her list of things she's done and accomplished and then she can make a decision whether or not she enjoys doing that thing. Tabby drinks socially and sometimes smokes as well, but usually only when at clubs or out with her friends. Tabby doesn't really give into peer pressure - more often than not she ignores a lot of people and will sit in a corner with a friend and just chat for a bit unless she gets asked to dance.
Tabby loves art - she is a big, big fan of Andy Warhol's art, she is a fan of pop art and she loves painting and drawing. Tabby likes doing portraits of people, and will often ask people she knows to let her do a painting. Tabby's drea is to get a picture of Ira and Deryck back-to-back onstage and then paint it Andy Warhol style, yet she hasn't gotten around to ever asking either of them about it yet. Tabby is a big fan of InDie Disko, and has done promo shots for them and also took the photos in their lyric booklet and done the graphics and art on their debut album and their B-Side. Tabby is influenced by a lot of artists, Andy Warhol, Patrick Caulfield and George Segal to name a few.
History:
Tabitha Judith Trohman was born on 10th April in Chicago, Illinios to Joe Trohman and Anna Trohman. Her father was on tour at the time and wasn't present at her birth, however, he saw her three days after she was born. Joe took a sabbatical from Fall Out Boy, which was intended to last for two months, however, two weeks into the sabbatical Joe had returned to touring with the band. Anna took care of Tabitha alone, and slowly she began to see less and less of Joe, but she continued to play the faithful housewife and looked after Tabitha. Tabitha was a good girl, if not a little hyperactive through out the majority of her childhood (some things never change). Tabitha loved her father very dearly, and was closer to Joe than she was to Anna despite the fact she spent more time with Anna. Tabitha was in love with music from as young as she could remember - her father taught her guitar, and it wasn't long before Tabby wanted to be in a band of her own. It made sense, given her father's own occupation.
Tabby was bullied badly at school, she went to a normal high school where she was picked on because of her father. She would often come home crying - if she came home at all. Tabby sometimes spent all her time at a small underage club in Chicago, where she would stay and watch bands play untill quite late into the night. Her parents never figured out where she was, but as soon as people started to learn that she was Tabby Trohman - daughter of the guitarist from Fall Out Boy, Tabby was literally chased out of the music scene as well, just for who her father was. Tabby felt terrible, and went through a phase where she was sick to death of guitars and of music all together. She gave up on everything, and locked herself away in her room, sometimes not venturing out for days on end. Tabby seemed only truly at home when her father returned, but those visits became far and few between and slowly even Joe's presence couldn't bring a smile to Tabby's face. All through this Tabby dealed with this problem by nothing more than staring at the posters adorning her bedroom walls and speaking - yes, speaking - to them.
Tabby is slowly regaining her social butterfly status by playing in an underground indie band, but refuses to 'sever' her ties with her father and her father's bandmates. Tabby finds them all so very endearing. Tabby is good friends with Pete Wentz's son, Deryck, who is a few months younger than herself. She spent a lot of time with Deryck when she had no where else to go, and he never failed to put a smile on her face. Slowly, Tabby became to realize that her feelings for Deryck ran a little deeper than just liking him - they have been friends since they were born, so Tabby hasn't expressed anything to Deryck. Besides this, Tabby knows full well that Deryck likes his groupies a little too much to give a relationship some serious thought. Tabby would rather keep her mouth shut and stay friends with Deryck than open her mouth and shatter a seventeen year relationship.
