Appearance
He's his father's son, in every aspect imaginable. Redish-brown hair, green eyes, and occasionally a nervous grin, Jason is the spitting image of his father. Not only does he look exactly like Patrick, but he dresses just like him as well. Fairly tight jeans, a polo t-shirt, a pair of converse sneakers, a hoodie, and a hat of some sort- he’s set. It’s not uncommon for him to be wearing clothes from Clandestine Industries, the company started by Pete Wentz- his father’s best friend and band mate.

Personality
Jason is generally the one people call a "sweet kid". He's nice to anyone. He's always polite, but unfortunately is quite shy when meeting new people. He hates being up infront of crowds of people, the spotlight just isnt his thing. Though no matter how much stage fright he has, Jason absolutely loves music, and hopes to become a musician for his life-time career. Ever sense he was young, Jason began learning how to play a variety of different instruments from his father, whenever the band wasn't on tour. So far he's learned to fluently play guitar [electric and acoustic], bass, drums, piano, and trumpet. For four years he was in the school band playing trumpet, but was kicked out for not attending their concerts and refusing to go to All County and state competitions.
History
Jason Lewis Kingston Stumph was born on July 4th in New York City, New York. He was born one week and a half premature, which created complications for the first few months of his life. In fear of Jason’s health condition, he was kept in New York City until he was six months old, then was taken back to Chicago, Illinois. It was there that he lived with his Grandparents, and for a good three years of his life, never seeing or hearing much from neither Patrick or Greta, their careers calling for more time away from their son every time they tried to get home. Finally his father was able to get a plane back to Chicago and took Jason with him everywhere possible, even if it was the recording studio in the making of a new record. Jason loved it, as most people would expect. It was two years later, when Jason was seven, that his parents began to teach him how to play instruments, starting with the piano and then moving onto different instruments when he was ready.
At ten years old Jason was taken from home schooling to being put in public school, where he joined the band, learning how to play the trumpet. He enjoyed it but never attended any of the concerts because he was terrified of the crowds, afraid of playing in front of people. This caused a bit of a problem. Jason’s extreme case of stage fright worried both Patrick and Greta a bit, but they figured it was just because he was young, and that he’d get over his fears. When he was fourteen it was called for a confrence at school about Jason’s little stage fright problem, which resolved in the school forcing Jason out of band, because his absence was causing a problem at their competitions.
His parents’ fame and what was expected of him, as their child, didn’t really bother Jason until a year later, shortly before his sixteenth birthday. He began to notice the bits of media and photographers that started following him around when he went somewhere, when he was with his friends, or even at work as a waiter at Subway. He began to take a role in the music scene, performing in a band as their drummer, attending more underground shows than he could keep track of. But with that came higher expectations. He was Patrick Stump’s son. He should be able to sing well. He should be able to play the instruments his father could.
The pressure was getting to be too much for Jason to handle. His personality took a change, as did his life. First came a bit of insomnia and paranoia. He was always annoyed, becoming rather snappy and rude. He stopped playing instruments, he made excuses when his parents wanted to teach him something new, he quit the band that he was in. But from there, the media began harassing him more, bothering him about his disappearance in the Chicago scene, nagging him about his parents’ lives. Frustrated, annoyed, just wanting it all to stop…
Jason attempted suicide on July 4th. His sixteenth birthday. His uncle found him, just as Jason kicked the chair out from beneath himself, he’d tried hanging himself with a belt from a beam in his bedroom ceiling. Quickly his uncle sliced through the belt with a knife, sending Jason falling to the floor, blue in the face, arms covered in cuts- damage that he’d done to himself, gasping for air. His trachea had collapsed. It wasn’t long after that he was in the hospital, trapped there for weeks, feeling worse than he had before the suicide attempt. It hurt him to see his mother cry.. To see her crying because of him. He’d disappointed his father, everything leaving him in an emotional void for quite some time.
His newly diagnosed state of “depression” sent him into a psych ward in the hospital, his family terrified that Jason was going to try to kill himself again, terrified that they wouldn’t be quite so lucky next time. He was kept in the hospital for six months, receiving schooling from a teacher who would come in everyday, continuing school work on the week ends to try and catch up what he had missed. The next six months out of the hospital were spent at home, never allowed in a room by himself, and having to call his mother or father every two hours.
