. She had done for ages, perhaps even years. Ever since she'd been aware of how close they'd gotten, and how not many people were able to get that close to Deryck Wentz. She had been flattered yet scared by the prospect, and she felt a bit worried now. It wasn't a date, but what if he thought she was trying to make it into one? It had been so difficult to choose what to wear, but after a long three minutes of decision making - that was a long time for Tabby - she had chosen a simple black and white dress. How unusual, right? It said casual but cool... something Tabby wanted to come across to with Deryck. Casual, yet perhaps something a little more. She was late, as usual. Tabby knew Deryck wouldn't mind but it made her feel a bit bad all the same. She was running down the sidewalk now in her clunky sandals 'till she finally saw Deryck and she smiled. "Derry!" Tabby cried, running toward him and enveloping him in a hug. "God, how are you?" Tabby asked.[/blockquote][/ul]

He said looking at her for maybe a moment too long before turning away. God what was wrong with him. “I’m really glad you could make it.” He said smiling though looking more at the floor than her. “I like, got us a table for lunch at that Thai place, but you know if you don’t like it we can go someplace else we don’t have to go there you know theres loads of other nice places about and if you don’t like Thai I wont mind you know there are nice places all round here.”Deryck shut up! That’s better. [/blockquote][/ul]

Tabby said looking at the ground. This was so ridiculous... if she told him then she could stop tiptoeing around him, and yet if she told him then he would know! He would know! That his friend of very nearly seventeen years fancied him! Tabby shut her eyes briefly, as if she could mentally will herself to start acting normal and not a silly little infatuated girl. Because that was all it was, right? Infatuation. It wasn't love if it was unrequainted... yet Tabby trusted Deryck more than anyone else in the world. She would die for Deryck, probably, because she felt like he was he only one who'd taken a chance on her when the rest of the world had seen her as a weird outcast for the things that she did. Tabby wasn't that weird little girl of that man from a band to Deryck, because they were on the same level as each other. "Will you be my model?" Tabby said, and then felt like kicking herself. What are you saying? She thought, and she winced to herself. "I mean... for my drawing... I kind of wanted to draw you onstage, but I need a still image to take a picture of," Tabby said. "You have amazing features, really prominent... you'd be great."'Shut up! That was so unnecessary!' Tabby said, wincing to herself again.[/blockquote][/ul]

He said smiling; it was a chance to spend more time together right? He held her hand as they walking looking at her, just pondering how she was…her. How she was just so perfect even though she didn’t see it. Then again…even if he did ask her…why would she want to be with him anyway, after all he was a whore and known for it, he slept about, he had no regard for women so what made her different. Truthfully he didn’t know, he didn’t know if it was her laugh, or the way she sang, or the way she played or the way she drew or the way she breathed…it was just everything. There wasn’t a thing he didn’t like about her. [/blockquote][/ul]
